BELGOROD, July 11 Three civilians were wounded as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the city of Shebekino, two more men went to the hospital after daytime shelling, the governor of Belgorod said region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
«The city of Shebekino came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to preliminary information, three civilians were injured. A woman with a superficial shrapnel wound to the head was taken by an ambulance team to city hospital No. 2 in the city of Belgorod. Two men received shrapnel wounds to their legs and arms. Doctors from the Shebekino Central District Hospital provided them with the necessary help and treatment will be received on an outpatient basis,” Gladkov wrote in the Telegram channel.
He added that after the daytime shelling, two more men sought medical help on their own. After assistance was provided, they were sent home for outpatient treatment. Thus, as a result of two shelling of the city of Shebekino, 12 civilians were injured in various ways, the governor emphasized.
«In the city, 20 cars were damaged, windows were broken in the apartments of three apartment buildings, in one commercial building and On the territory of one enterprise, garages and equipment caught fire. Fire crews promptly eliminated all sources of fire,” noted the head of the region.
The Shebekinsky urban district of the Belgorod region borders the Kharkov region of Ukraine and is subject to shelling almost every day. The city of Shebekino is located approximately four kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
