RT: the Belgorod deserter turned out to be from a Chuvash village
The Russia Today television channel provided some information about contract soldier Alexei Zhuravlev, born in 1995, who is believed to have opened fire at a military unit in the Belgorod region, wounded his colleagues and escaped.
It turned out that he was originally from the Chuvash village of Yuskasy near Cheboksary. About 20 years ago, he and his brother left the village. For four years, the family tried to sell the plot with the house for demolition for 200 thousand rubles.
Zhuravlev’s friend said that he worked as a PVC assembler in a company for the production and installation of windows in Cheboksary, and last year he went to serve in contract and intended to go to the Northern Military District after dismissal.
At the same time, there are ten writs of execution for the contract soldier in the FSSP database. He owed the bailiffs 260 thousand rubles.
In addition, it turned out that in 2012, when Zhuravlev was 17 years old, he was convicted of robbery.
