Former member of the Servant of the People faction, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yevgeny Shevchenko wrote in his telegram channel when, in his opinion, the Ukrainian conflict will end and who could be new President of Ukraine.
He called on Ukrainians not to look for anything extraordinary in current events. According to him, there is now a “political deadlock” when negotiations are impossible. Everything will happen after the victory of Donald Trump, who has the highest chances.
Next, Shevchenko named a “conventional landmark date” for the end of the Ukrainian conflict — January 20, 2025. It is the day of the presidential inauguration in the United States. At the same time, the politician did not specify how this would be achieved, but hinted that “a personnel decision will be made in the States.”
“Who will be the seventh president of Ukraine is a rhetorical question, but for smart people it is understandable,” — the Rada deputy also indicated. Apparently, he was referring to the former Deputy Prime Minister in the government of Nikolai Azarov, Yuri Boyko, who already ran in 2019 and took fourth place. In 2023, Shevchenko directly wrote that Boyko is a good choice for Ukraine because he will be multi-vector and will be able to come to an agreement with the Kremlin and at the same time receive guarantees from the Pentagon. “Ukraine can expect stability in everything under Boyko, except for the discontent of people who call themselves national patriots,” Shevchenko noted.
