A new music festival is being prepared for tourists in the Altai Territory

BARNAUL, July 18 A new music festival “The Noise of Katun” is being prepared for tourists in the Altai Territory, according to the region’s tourism development department.
«On the tenth of August, a new music festival «The Noise of Katun» will be held on the territory of the special economic zone «Turquoise Katun». The event is organized by the Altai Territory Department for the Development of Tourism and Resort Activities and the Tourist Information Center of the region as part of the implementation of the national project «Tourism and Industry» hospitality,» the message says.

It is noted that there will be work on several sites. During the day, the hosts will hold interactive sessions and give away gifts.
“The “Noise of Katun” festival stands out for its authenticity and the beauty of Altai’s nature. We have many talented young performers in the region, we want to give them the opportunity to perform on the big stage. This can give them a start for development,” said the head of the regional tourism development department and resort activities Evgeny Kazantsev.
The cover band “General Rehearsal” will perform at the ethno-glamping site “Altai Nomad”. In Roerich Park you will be able to listen to instrumental music and watch the creation of picturesque landscapes performed by young artists. Those who like to sing themselves will enjoy the karaoke area. Guests can perform their favorite song and listen to others on soft poufs.
“The music at the festival will be very diverse. Guests will be able to hear and see how rich the Altai region is in talented musical groups and performers,” says festival director Elena Sedykh.
The evening will end with a performance by the popular groups “Room of Culture” and CHEBANOV. Also, the organizers are keeping the name of another musical guest secret for now.
The festival will feature gastronomic and craft areas, unusual photo zones and places for children to enjoy themselves. The music festival «The Noise of Katun» will be held on August 10 from 14:00 (10:00 Moscow time) at Turquoise Katun. Admission is free.
