Central University has launched a program to support talented students together with 11 industrial partners of the university, including Avito, Arenadata, Itelma, MOEX, SIBUR, Tedo, Tele2, T-Bank, Reksoft Consulting, Selectel, Yadro. The total fund of the scholarship competition is more than 60 million rubles, the program is designed for 170 people.
All applicants to the Central University bachelor's degree program, regardless of the method of admission and form of study, will be able to take part in the selection. The scholarship will be 15 thousand rubles per month during the first two years of study with the possibility of extension, during which the student can receive payments in the amount of 360 thousand rubles.
Applications are open until July 28 for high school graduates planning to enter the Central University, including for holders of a grant for study. The results will be published along with the enrollment orders.
As part of the selection, applicants are asked to solve test tasks in the areas of «development» and «artificial intelligence». Each of them is formulated as a real task for the position of Junior Specialist in the company. The solution takes 4-5 hours and is of an exploratory nature: it is important to demonstrate not just the answer, but all the work done. One week is offered for completion, during which you can return to the task several times. The program includes two types of winners: in each area and within the overall ranking.
Evgeny Ivashkevich, Rector of the Central University:
«We are constantly expanding the list of opportunities for our students and strive to provide them with quality support. Thanks to the scholarship program, talented students will be able to concentrate on their studies.»
More than 1,000 applicants are already taking part in the competition. You can find out more details on the Central University website.
