Former associate of Zhirinovsky arrested in Moscow

The Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow, at the request of the capital's head of the Investigative Committee, arrested for two months a former member of the Supreme Council of the LDPR and ex-State Duma deputy Sergei Abeltsev.

According to media reports, he is accused of fraud on a particularly large scale. According to Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code, he faces up to ten years in prison.
