Ukrainian media published a photo of Farion from the hospital after the assassination attempt

A photograph taken by an eyewitness of the delivery of politician Iryna Farion to the hospital after the assassination attempt has been circulated in the Ukrainian media. Earlier it became known that an unknown person shot at the former Rada deputy in the courtyard of her house in Lviv.

According to the latest information, Farion was wounded in the temporal region during the assassination attempt. The media reports that she is in intensive care in critical condition.

Local law enforcement officers have begun searching for the attacker. Witnesses to the crime told journalists that the killer was wearing gloves and fired a pistol without a silencer, and fled after the assassination attempt.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the assassination attempt on Farion, said that «any violence deserves only condemnation» and the perpetrator must be held accountable.

The media write that the last time Farion was online on social networks was a couple of hours before the assassination attempt — she published a post advertising her nationalist-themed TV show.
