Ukrainian media report details of the assassination attempt on politician, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Farion, who was shot by an unknown person in Lviv. Earlier it became known that Farion received a gunshot wound to the temple in the courtyard of the house.

According to publications citing witnesses, the killer was wearing gloves at the time of the attack and was holding a pistol without a silencer. Eyewitnesses said that they saw a suspicious subject a week before the assassination attempt — it is assumed that the killer was waiting for the victim.

According to the latest data, Farion is in intensive care in extremely serious condition.

The hospital where the victim was taken, as well as the police, have not yet officially confirmed the assassination attempt Farion, but did not refute the media information. The police confirmed that a 60-year-old woman was wounded.
