MOSCOW, July 20 Police officers have found the mother of girls aged 2 and 4 who were left alone in an apartment in the east of Moscow. She has been taken to the territorial department, the press service of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the department, a message was received on Saturday that there were minor children in need of assistance in an apartment in a residential building on Svyatoozerskaya Street.
«It has been preliminarily established that two girls, aged 2 and 4, were alone in the apartment without adult supervision… During the verification activities, police officers found the mother of the abandoned children, and she was taken to the territorial police department,» the report says.
The issue of bringing the mother to administrative responsibility is being decided.
The department also clarified that the children were taken to the local police department, and their lives and health are not in danger.
