MOSCOW, July 22 The organizer of illegal migration, who used more than 150 apartments in Moscow to accommodate foreigners, has been detained, the capital's headquarters of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.
It is noted that investigators are investigating a criminal case under articles on fraud and organization of illegal migration.

«According to the investigation, no later than September 1, 2023, the defendants, acting as part of an organized group for the purpose of personal enrichment, created conditions for organizing illegal migration on the territory of the city of Moscow. The accomplices settled foreign citizens illegally staying on the territory of the Russian Federation in more than 150 apartments, the owners of which died,» the report says.
Law enforcement officers detained the organizer and a member of the criminal group, searched the suspects' homes, where documentation indicating their involvement in the crimes was seized. They will be charged soon.
In addition, other members of the criminal group are being identified.
