Medinsky launched a channel on Rutube dedicated to the history of Russia

MOSCOW, July 22 Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky has launched a channel on the Rutube video hosting service dedicated to the history of Russia and outstanding Russian historical figures, the platform's press service reported.
«»Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society (RMHS) Vladimir Medinsky launched an educational channel on Rutube «Vladimir Medinsky. Stories from Russian history,» the statement says.
As noted, in his video lectures he talks about outstanding figures in Russian history and their role in the creation, strengthening and development of the Russian state in different eras. The channel also features previously recorded cycles dedicated to the history of Russia in the 18th and 19th centuries and a new course, «Collectors of the Russian Land.» More than 120 episodes have been published on the channel to date.

«The course «Collectors of the Russian Land» is dedicated to the history of the collection and unification of Russian lands and the creation of a single Russian state, starting from the legendary Rurik and ending with the dramatic events of the 20th century,» the statement says.
