The head of Belgorod Muslims commented on the failed terrorist attack

BELGOROD, July 23. Terrorists will never be able to quarrel Muslims with Orthodox Christians and representatives of other faiths living in Belgorod, said the chairman of the Muslims of Belgorod and the Belgorod region, Gadzhiramazan Ramazanov.
The FSB reported on Tuesday that local residents, Russian citizens born in 1986 and 1993, who were planning, on instructions from the Ukrainian special services, to arson a mosque in Belgorod, were detained in Mariupol. They confessed and were arrested. According to one of the detainees, the purpose of the terrorist attack was “to pit Christians and Muslims in Russia in order to incite hostility between them.”
«Their main task is to sow discord between Orthodox Christians and Muslims. They will not succeed because (strong — ed.) our friendship is with the Orthodox and those people who live in our city… Because we are for each other we go to visit, we respect each other, we attend holidays. Our children communicate. This is simply physically impossible, and no one (to sow discord — ed.) can do it,» Ramazanov said.
