The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics was a «massive failure.» This opinion was expressed in her Telegram channel by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

She drew attention to the fact that before the event, the authorities detained a chef of Russian origin, who was accused of espionage and attempting to disrupt the opening ceremony.

«I wonder how many more «spies» needed to be introduced so that the opening of the Olympics in Paris would be such a large-scale failure? This is not the bottom. This is the bottom of the Seine,» the Russian diplomat said in a publication.

Zakharova also noted that she was not going to watch the opening of the Games in France, but after seeing the photos from the event, she could not believe that all this was not a deepfake or Photoshop.»
