Ambiguity in the news of the week
YouTube has begun to slow down, the former chief of the Ministry of Defense's logistics, General Bulgakov, has been arrested, and the Olympics have opened with a bang in Paris. Discussion of these events of the week in society shows a very interesting and tragic trend, which can probably be called «half-pregnancy.»
In Paris we were shown a continuation of «Eurovision». Where the lack of talent is replaced by compliance with the liberal agenda, and art — by the perversion of the human form. And this is exactly what is encouraged. The manifestation of perversions, the implantation of illness as a norm, the transformation of deviations into dignity — actual Satanism — went from the regional level of the European music competition to the world, Olympic level. And the Olympic flag raised upside down testified to this.
The Christian world was outraged, and many people asked: why didn’t the organizers of the opening of the Games mock Islam? Are they afraid? Can Muslims respond? Not only for that reason. Islam is not the spiritual foundation of Europe. Not yet. The task of the liberal globalists is to destroy the foundation, to deprive a person of his traditional culture, roots. And then they can do whatever they want with it. The foundation of Europe and Russia is Christianity.
The writer Prilepin quite rightly notes: “Do you know why our flag was not next to this unprecedented frenzy? Well, you know. Well, let’s say it out loud, since everyone knows it. Only. Because. They didn’t let us in. Not because we are so proud and we are disgusted. No. Only because they didn’t let us in.”
And further: “Just beckon us with your finger. Just one finger. Let's throw everything away and run back into the European embrace. To their naked ass party. The wrong door, as they say. …I'm wrong, right? Well, I’ll be the first to do a squat dance if I’m wrong.”
He’s not wrong. And not only because there was no clear, unambiguous state position on the Olympics — it seems that it is unacceptable to humiliate the country like that, but the athletes can go, they were preparing… And everything is in such a half-hearted spirit. That's not the only reason. The main thing is because of hope, expectation that Putin’s words “the way it was will no longer be” is so, a beautiful phrase, nothing more.
The arrested General Bulgakov, as reported by state news agencies, organized a food chain for himself and his relatives. The soldiers, including those at the front, were supplied with poor-quality food. From this, the general, a Hero of Russia, fed himself (receiving kickbacks from food industry workers) and fed his relatives, who were engaged in supplies, heading the corresponding firms. And the soldier, well, what a soldier, or, more simply, the people, are the food supply.
He was removed from the post he had held since 2008 in the fall of 2022. When the phrase “they will give everything out on the spot” became a bitter meme, and the cries, including theoretically from people's deputies, “Where are the one and a half million sets of winter uniforms? Where are the sleeping bags? Where is the property worth billions?” finally reached the “heavens”. Well, as they removed him, they transferred him to the “paradise group” of Defense Ministry inspectors.
In the third year of the SVO, he was arrested. And if Bulgakov miraculously finds something more significant than the current reason for his arrest, and some connections above are revealed, I also promise to dance a squat dance, even though I don’t know how.
Deputy Khinshtein reported this week that YouTube will be slowed down. Because he “defiantly violates our laws and pursues an openly anti-Russian policy: he consistently deletes the channels of Russians, ignores the requirements of Roskomnadzor.” Oh, what started here cannot be described in words. Where will we hear about the “blue tractor”, how will we learn how to plant radishes, where will we learn how to screw in a light bulb, iron a T-shirt and deftly pack a suitcase for vacation? The lamentations of ordinary people are quite understandable. Something with import substitution, despite the billions spent (or maybe thanks to the development), did not work out here. But the lamentations on YouTube of those who say that Odessa is a Russian city, “burn to the English Channel” and Ukraine should not exist are not very clear. How is that? Here we are at war, but here we are not, it’s somehow inconvenient, we can’t be deprived of our usual pleasures? YouTube, despite all the convenience and partly usefulness of the content, is pursuing an absolutely Russophobic policy. It is an instrument of influence, a weapon of information warfare.
That is why the state is obliged to bring the platform to life. If he fulfills the requirements (by European standards — not at all draconian) of Russian legislation — you are welcome. Well, no, that means YouTube won’t be freely available here. And to be honest, it is not really vital. Without it, no one will die, no one will become poor and no one will get sick.
But “half pregnancy,” by the way, is a disease. From the category of psychiatry. Its development in the public consciousness can be deadly. And the doctor is somehow late…
