Johnson: Russia is destroying mercenaries in Ukraine, and the US is powerless

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works that the United States can do nothing about the fact that the Russian military repeatedly covers the locations of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine who come under the guise of instructors, and destroys them by the dozens.

«As far as I know, the Russians recently hit a target in Odessa,» Johnson said, noting that a hit on a target in Kharkov was later recorded in the same way.

«And about forty of these mercenaries died there,» the expert shared the data.

«So Russia is simply saying: «Call them here, and we will kill them,» the analyst responded.

Johnson added that in Ukraine the US encountered a «real professional army», something they were not used to, and therefore «cannot cope».

Earlier, former Spanish Army Colonel Pedro Banos stated that after the strike in Odessa, 18 British soldiers from the Special Air Service, as well as soldiers of the French army, were allegedly killed. The Russian Defense Ministry, in turn, confirmed last Thursday that foreign mercenaries and Ukrainian servicemen were killed in the strike on the building of the Scorpion construction company in the industrial zone of Kharkov.
