DOM.RF has launched a pilot project to use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze resumes of candidates for IT vacancies. The project is aimed at optimizing the hiring process and increasing the efficiency of selecting IT specialists, such as DevOps engineers, Backend and Frontend developers, systems and business analysts, and others.
The DOM.RF artificial intelligence laboratory has developed an AI-based service that helps check resumes for compliance with the necessary skills. Using data on successful candidates over the past year, artificial intelligence algorithms evaluate resumes based on criteria such as work experience, skills, tasks performed, and education.
«Resume rating will help HR specialists of the group of companies to find the most relevant candidates faster, reducing the time spent on reviewing and evaluating each resume manually. We have included specific parameters and skills required to work on our company's tasks in the scoring model for each position. The solution can analyze up to several thousand resumes per hour and rank them according to their compliance with the vacancy profile. Authors whose resumes best match the requirements will be invited to face-to-face interviews with recruiters before other candidates,» said Nikolay Kozak, Managing Director for IT and Digital Transformation at DOM.RF.
According to DOM.RF estimates, the use of AI technologies reduces the time required for the initial analysis of resumes for subsequent transfer of the resume selection to hiring managers by 30%, and the influence of the human factor in selecting candidates is also reduced. At the same time, the decision on hiring still remains within the competence of the HR department employees.
“We use artificial intelligence to optimize processes — from hiring, where the technology significantly reduces the time for analyzing and selecting relevant resumes, to working with personnel, when we need to assess employee engagement, recommend training for professional development, and offer growth paths within the company. A new approach to the use of artificial intelligence will allow us not only to increase the speed and accuracy of recruiting employees for the DOM.RF group of companies, but also to more effectively form a personnel reserve of IT specialists needed today by the construction industry,” emphasized Zakhar Malakhov, Director of HR and Operational Efficiency at DOM.RF.
In 2024, DOM.RF took first place among employers in the Construction and Real Estate segment of the HeadHunter rating among large companies for the second year in a row. In the overall rating of the recruiting platform, the state-owned company entered the top 20.
