MOSCOW, August 1 Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Ukraine's plans to include Tauric Chersonesos in the UNESCO list of endangered sites, said that representatives of the organization will be able to come to Crimea and admire what it has become.

The museum and park complex «New Chersonesos» was built on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The area of 24 hectares houses the Museum of Christianity, the Archaeological Museum of Antiquity and Byzantium, the Museum of Crimea and Novorossiya, an open-air temple-park, the amphitheater «Griffin Arena», and a reconstructed quarter of Chersonesos from the time of Prince Vladimir. The total area of the buildings is 140 thousand square meters.
The new museum and park complex «New Chersonesos» opened for visitors for the first time in Sevastopol on July 30. The solemn ceremony of consecration of the complex took place on July 28, on this day a large religious procession took place, and the St. Vladimir Cathedral was opened after restoration. On the same day, a new monument to the baptizer of Rus, Prince Vladimir, was unveiled.
