Avito Auto: LADA Granta became the most popular used three-year-old car in 2024

Avito Auto experts analyzed data on supply, demand and prices for used cars no older than 3 years in Russia in the first half of 2024. The most popular models during this period were models from Russian and South Korean manufacturers, and the average price of such a car was 2,899,708 rubles.

According to the platform, the leader in the number of advertisements for the sale of used cars up to 3 years old was the VAZ (LADA) brand: its share in the supply was 19.5%. It also leads in terms of share in demand — 22.7%. But the leader in terms of dynamics was the Chinese brand Geely: demand for such cars increased 2.5 times.

Three VAZ (LADA) cars made it into the top three in terms of demand among models. Granta took the lead with a share of 8.9%, followed by Vesta with 4.7% and Niva Legend with 3.8%. In fourth place in the ranking was the Chinese Geely Monjaro, which received 3.8%, and in fifth place was the Japanese Toyota Camry (3.3%). In first place in terms of demand dynamics year on year was the hybrid Chinese crossover LiXiang L7.

Granta took first place in terms of the number of ads, receiving 8.4% of the supply. Vesta came in second with 3.9%, and Geely Monjaro came in third with 2.4%. The same LiXiang L7 demonstrated the highest growth rates in supply.
