MOSCOW, August 14 Nine people were injured in an accident involving a passenger bus and a car near Pervouralsk, the press service of the Sverdlovsk prosecutor’s office reported areas.
The accident occurred at about 07:20 on the seventh kilometer of the highway Pervouralsk — Shalya village. There, a passenger bus on route No. 110 (the village of Novoutkinsk — Pervouralsk) and a Volkswagen Golf collided.
“Preliminarily, the driver of a passenger car, while overtaking on the side of the road, lost control and entered the lane of oncoming traffic, where he collided with a passenger bus,” the prosecutor’s office clarified.
Medical Seven passengers on the bus, as well as the driver and passenger of the car, required assistance. A total of nine passengers were traveling on the bus, the supervisory authority clarified.
The police are conducting a pre-investigation check to determine the exact cause of the accident. The prosecutor's office will assess the legality of the decision made by the police.
