KRASNODAR, August 13 The lead singer of the group «Corrosion of Metal» Sergey Troitsky was taken to the police department in Novorossiysk, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Krasnodar Krai reported.
«On August 13, 2024, the duty unit of the police department (Central District) of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Novorossiysk received a message from a store clerk located on Lenin Avenue that a man was trying to pay with a banknote that raised doubts about its authenticity,» the department said.

Troitsky was sentenced to an administrative fine for petty hooliganism. It is noted that during the investigation with the security forces, the man rudely used obscene language, waved his arms and pestered citizens.

Due to the detainee's complaints of feeling unwell, he was escorted to a medical facility for a doctor's examination, after which he was taken to the Central District Police Department.
In turn, the suspicious banknote was confiscated for examination.
«Corrosion of Metal» was founded in 1984, the group performs in the thrash metal style. The concert of the «SPIDER Orchestra» project took place in Novorossiysk on August 10.
