About 9 thousand mortgages using QR code technology in the total amount of 52.5 billion rubles have been issued since the beginning of 2024. Borrowers scanned the QR code — without filling out a questionnaire or providing documents — and in a few minutes received a set of offers for all mortgage products available to them with already approved individual lending terms. This was reported by Alexey Kosyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank.
“This became possible thanks to the integration with the “Digital Profile”, which allows you to receive all the data necessary for making a decision from the “Gosuslugi” portal, analyze and offer the client a choice of all available credit products with already approved terms based on his individual parameters. The process takes only a few minutes and remains seamless for the client,” Alexey Kosyakov explained.
The largest number of transactions using innovative technology in 2024 were conducted in Moscow and the Moscow Region (worth RUB 12.5 billion and RUB 5 billion, respectively). Krasnodar Region is in second place — over RUB 4 billion. Next come the Republic of Tatarstan (RUB 3 billion), Nizhny Novgorod Region and Sverdlovsk Region (RUB 2.5 billion each).
The leading regions also include Tyumen Region (RUB 2.4 billion), St. Petersburg (RUB 2.3 billion), Novosibirsk Region (RUB 1.8 billion), Samara Region (RUB 1.7 billion), and Voronezh Region (RUB 1.6 billion).
As Nikolay Kozak, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of DOM.RF Bank, reported, over 70% of mortgage applications this year were submitted using a QR code. This tool has already proven itself as a convenient way to obtain financial services in the Russian banking market.
