Senator from Crimea Sergey Tsekov said that Ukrainian soldiers, who were told various unsightly things about Russia by propaganda, saw what Russia really is like during the attack on the Kursk region.

«Foreign journalists write that they were surprised by the state of the roads in the Kursk region compared to the Sumy region,» Tsekov noted in an interview with News.ru.

He also emphasized that the Ukrainian military saw that there is order in Russia and that the Europe that Ukraine is striving for is not in the West, but in the East.

Tsekov suggested that this could also be the reason for the increased number of surrenders of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.
