Like Mercedes, Stellantis decided to first show not the appearance, but the “inner world” of its new model, and these are not teasers or design sketches at all: full-fledged corporate images of the crossover interior have been published Peugeot 3008 third generation. However, seven years ago, the previous SUV was opened in a similar way. The appearance of the upcoming 3008 is also mentioned, but in passing: it is announced that the next model will be a “cross-fastback”, that is, obviously, we are talking about a coupe-like body. And of course, the new Peugeot 3008 will have all-electric versions. But back to the salon.

The i-Cockpit architecture has also stepped into the next generation, now being called the Panoramic i-Cockpit by the manufacturer. The main feature is a single curved 21-inch screen that rises above the front panel. The projection display is no more. The steering wheel has remained compact, while it now has touch keys, although they are still activated when pressed, and not when touched — in order to avoid false positives.

Under the central air vents, an i-Toggles panel was installed, like on the Peugeot 308: these are customizable touch buttons that provide quick access to the 10 most frequently used functions (for example, call your favorite contact, favorite radio station, optimal climate setting, etc.).

The new Peugeot 3008 does not have a mechanical box, and a miniature selector located on the front panel, immediately behind the engine start button, is responsible for controlling the “automatic”. The SUV has retained a rather massive central tunnel: several keys, a “twist” for adjusting the volume, wireless charging for a smartphone, a box with a lid and cup holders have been placed on it. Finally, the interior of the «third» Peugeot 3008 uses fabric and aluminum.
