According to the data published by Autostat, about 72 200 new cars were sold in Russia in May of this year. This figure is 5% less than April 2023 , but 2.6 times higher than May last year.
Obviously, this growth is due primarily to low performance in 2022 — in sold only 27 500 new cars new new cars.
It is noteworthy that in the current year in three brands became the sales leaders, the share of which was about 51%. The leader here is Lada with 22 000 cars. Chery occupied the second place, the showrooms of which managed to sell about 7 400 cars.
Haval occupies the third line with approximately the same indicators. In addition, the TOP-5 includes the brands Geely and Kia with 6 700 and 3 100 cars respectively. which accounted for 15 800 cars. Second place went to Haval Jolion with 3 900 pieces. Geely Coolray — 3 500 copies.
