The novelty of the Chinese brand will enter the Russian car market this summer. The cross-coupe was equipped with a 249-horsepower 2.0-liter engine, which is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
In China, a crossover called Yaoguang appeared at the beginning of this year, but a different name was chosen for the export version — Exeed RX. For the Russian market, this new product was announced at the end of March, and a month later, the local office of the company announced the completion of the test cycle for the SUV version prepared for the Russian Federation. Now there are details about the Exeed RX, which will soon replenish the Russian line of the brand.

The company explained that the cross-coupe retains controllability when maneuvering due to independent control of the damping force on all wheels: rolls are leveled in turns, longitudinal buildup is minimized during acceleration and braking, and body vibrations are reduced when driving through road bumps.

The exterior of the Russian version of the Exeed RX, with the exception of nameplates, does not differ from the car offered on the home market. The list of design features includes a coupe-shaped body with a sloping roof, a narrow head optics with daytime running lights “fangs”, taillights, designed in the form of a single die, and retractable door handles.
The interior of the crossover, obviously, will also not differ much from the version from China. In addition, there is a large display on the front panel that combines a virtual “tidy” and a touchscreen of the infotainment system (it has 5G support and an over-the-air update function). It is proposed to shift gears using the steering column lever, and the developers moved the seat settings control to the inside of the doors.
The Russian office explained that Exeed RX security technologies include over 20 ADAS systems, the list includes adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance technology, traffic jam assistant, lane keep assist, lane change assist, etc.
