The appearance of the European SUV has been slightly tweaked, and the «sporty» top version has also been renamed. The technique of the reform was not affected.
Russia has become the first market for the Renault Arkana cross-coupe – our production of the model started in 2019. A year later, the release of the five-door was also launched in Korea: first under the name Samsung XM3, then the Asian division was renamed Renault Korea Motors, although the coupe index was not changed there. Russian and Korean cars have different exterior and interior designs, but most importantly, they have different fillings.

If our SUV was made on a platform that inherited a lot from the simple B0, then the XM3 was transferred to a more modern CMF-B bogie. So then Renault decided to supply Korean-assembled crossovers to Europe, Australia, Japan and the countries of South America — already under the name Arkana familiar to Russians. Our SUV, after the start of well-known events, has sunk into oblivion, because Renault left the Russian Federation. So, Renault Arkana received a different grille: the shape is the same, but instead of horizontal stripes, it now flaunts a lot of small rhombuses. There is no more brilliant decor — the edging of the grille and glasses, plus those same rhombuses, depending on the design, can simply be black or covered with darkened chrome. The SUV also got a new emblem of the brand, expanded palette of body colors.

The top version “for sports” has also been renamed: to replace the R.S. Line came Esprit Alpine (it is she who is captured on all company photos). The interior is the same, except that in the Arkana Esprit Alpine trim instead of carbon-look plastic, suede is now used. As before, the model is provided with a digital tidy, a multimedia system with a vertical tablet, wireless charging for a smartphone, a heated steering wheel and seats, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, auto-braking and marking tracking systems.

In the Old World, orders for the updated Renault Arkana will open before the end of summer, prices have not yet been announced. In France, for example, a pre-reform base crossover costs from 32,500 euros, for the R.S. version. Line they ask for a minimum of 38,000 euros.
