Piers Morgan was interviewed for the Vaughan and Tuffers Cricket Club podcast. Photo: Vaughan and Tuffers Cricket Club podcast. would have won Ashes at the Oval this week had it not been for the 'heartbreaking' rain in Manchester in their last Test match and called Australia 'fraud prisoners'.
Morgan was never afraid to turn Australians on social networks, and he joined the Telegraph Sport Vaughany and Tuffers Cricket Club podcast on their latest episode to discuss topics ranging from baseball to psychopaths.
“It has become one of the most excellent finishes. We were losing 2-0, but in fact we should have won 2-0. Lose 2-0, and then bounce back, become 2-2, and then go to the Oval, which would happen if we played more than two hours on the weekend. It would be the greatest series in history.
“England were the dominant team, the best team. England should have won all the trials. We are the best team. I don't think there is any doubt about that. We got beat up by the rain and at the Oval I think we're going to smooth them out and I think we need to. I don't want to lose 3-1. It would be very frustrating to lose 3-1 to this Australian team of rogue criminals.”
