At IAA Mobility 2023, currently taking place in Munich, Renault is presenting its new electric family SUV, the Renault Scenic E-tech. But this is not the only novelty from the company. They also updated their Renault Kangoo, which was first introduced in 2021, and introduced an updated version of it called the Renault Grand Kangoo.
One of the key features of the Renault Grand Kangoo is its spacious interior, equipped with seven full-fledged modular seats , SPEEDME.RU journalists write. The second row of seats includes three individual seats, while the front and third rows have two seats each. This makes the model more spacious than most other cars in this class. Trunk volume is 500 liters, but it can be increased to 3750 liters by removing the rear seats and folding the front passenger seat. The maximum load length reaches 3.11 meters.
For easy access to the third row of seats, the width of the sliding doors has been increased by 18 cm compared to the regular Renault Kangoo and is now 83 cm. Renault claims that the new the model is suitable for both family use and commercial needs.
The electric version of the Renault Grand Kangoo E-Tech Electric is equipped with a 122-horsepower electric motor and a new 45 kWh lithium-ion battery. This battery provides a range of up to 265 km on the WLTP cycle and is guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km. If the battery capacity drops below 70% during this period, the manufacturer promises to replace it free of charge. Versions with 130 hp petrol engines will also be available. and a 95 hp diesel engine
Orders for the new Renault Grand Kangoo will begin to be accepted by the end of 2023, with deliveries starting in early 2024. Prices and packages will be announced closer to this time.
