In some places the compact SUV will have a more brutal appearance. This Creta is expected to debut late this year or early next year.
In the countries of Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as in some Latin American markets, the updated second-generation Hyundai Creta crossover appeared in 2021-2022. But in India, for example, the refreshed five-door is just getting ready for its premiere, and there the Creta will have its own design: the camouflaged SUV has already been caught during tests on local roads. And here is a fresh batch of spy photos of the model with an alternative restyling: these shots were taken in Korea, they were posted on the Naver online platform in the MotorsJason community. However, in Hyundai’s homeland they don’t sell the crossover, they only test it there. Well, we note that the caught car seems to have a steering wheel on the left, which means that such a Creta will appear in other regions — for example, in Brazil they are also still producing the pre-reform “second” SUV.

If the already presented modernized Creta received an appearance in the style of the current Hyundai Tucson, then the upcoming SUV will have a more angular appearance — closer to the fresh Hyundai Exter and Santa Fe. Thus, large “pixel” sections will be installed in the running lights located on top, and the main blocks of headlights and rear lights will be made rectangular. The previous pictures show that the “different” Creta will also get an even more impressive radiator grille – like the Palisade.

The paparazzi have not yet looked into the salon. The interior of the current “world” Creta has remained untouched, but the Indian (and possibly Brazilian) version may well have a different front panel. In addition, the Indians are hoping for an expanded list of equipment: in particular, their model does not have auto-braking and lane-marking systems.

V In India, the Hyundai Creta is still tipped for a new gasoline engine, we are talking about a 160-horsepower 1.5 T-GDI turbo-four (the local restyled Kia Seltos is also equipped with this engine). At the same time, it is expected that the Hyundai crossover will retain the naturally aspirated 1.5 and a turbodiesel of the same volume. The current Indian Creta does not have all-wheel drive; the modernized SUV will most likely also be exclusively front-wheel drive.
The “other” updated Creta may premiere at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. As for Russia, here you can find “parallel” SUVs with a Tucson design.
