The three-row SUV is already available in the Old World. At the moment, the model is offered with a 1.5 petrol turbo-four, a gas version will follow later.
The Evo brand was created in Italy in 2020, it belongs to the local company DR Automobiles, which remakes and sells Chinese cars in Europe. The main brand of the company is DR, today its range includes mainly modern restyled Cherys. Evo, on the other hand, was originally conceived for simpler cars; its line consists of models based on JAC and BAIC. So now the budget sub-brand has its own flagship — the three-row crossover Evo7.

The “Seven” is made from the pre-reform JAC Sehol X8, and the new Evo differs from the donor only in emblems and nameplates, although the rest of the “Italians” received a different appearance. That is, the brand decided to follow the path of our Moskvich, which has also so far limited itself to only introducing its emblem on the Jaki (the Moskvich 3 SUV is the JAC JS4, the upcoming Moskvich 6 liftback is the JAC J7/Sehol Yao).

In terms of its dimensions, the Evo7 is comparable to the current stretched Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace crossover. The length of the Evo model is 4795 mm, width – 1870 mm, height – 1758 mm, wheelbase – 2810 mm. The new product is available with a six- or seven-seat cabin. The trunk volume is 230 liters, with the third row of seats folded this figure will increase to 1050 liters, and if the second row is also folded, the volume will be 1900 liters.

The list of standard equipment for the SUV includes: a 10-inch virtual instrument panel, a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch diagonal “floating” tablet, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, all-round cameras, three-zone climate control. The model also has six airbags.

Evo7 is equipped with a 1.5 petrol turbo-four with a power of 174 hp. (288 Nm), which is combined with a six-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. Later, the brand promises to bring to market a version with an engine adapted to run on liquefied gas. In any case, the drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.

The crossover is already available in Italy, the price of the Evo7 starts from 29,990 euros. For comparison, the VW Tiguan Allspace there costs from 45,900 euros, and, for example, the seven-seater Skoda Kodiaq will cost Italians at least 42,050 euros.
Subsequently, the Evo7 SUV will reach other countries where it is present brand, but the list is short: in addition to Italy, these are also Spain, France and Bulgaria.
