The GV80 crossover coupe is said to have a similar exterior design to its predecessor, and its debut coincides with the unveiling of an updated version of the standard GV80. Unlike the original launched in 2020, the new version features an updated front fascia with a modified grille, new double diagonal lines and redesigned bumpers. The split headlights are still retained.
The GV80 coupe-crossover also received a significantly updated interior, which is now also featured in the updated GV80. Instead of the traditional layout with instruments under the visor and a separate infotainment screen, there is now a huge 27-inch wide OLED screen. The buttons on the center console have been redesigned, a new steering wheel has appeared, the lower part of the instrument panel has been updated, and the ventilation system outlet has also been changed. Genesis also adapted the center tunnel and made changes to the interior trim. Unlike the GV80, the GV80 crossover coupe has a D-shaped steering wheel.
Both the updated GV80 and the GV80 Coupe are offered on the South Korean market with two engines to choose from: 2.5 -liter four-cylinder engine with 304 horsepower and a 3.5-liter six-cylinder turbo engine with 380 horsepower. The GV80 coupe-crossover will also be available with a 415-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine.
