This week, the new premium brand Yuanhang, launched last year by Dayun, launched its first two models on the Chinese market. We talked about the Yuanhang Y6 executive sedan in a separate article, and here we will get acquainted with the Yuanhang H8 crossover.
Dayun is known in Russia as a manufacturer of heavy trucks; in its native China, it also produces and sells medium-duty trucks, pickups, passenger electric vehicles and motorcycles. Last year, Dayun Group launched a new subsidiary brand, Yuanhang (its name is translated from romanized Chinese into Russian as “travel”), under which it will sell expensive electric cars at the intersection of the premium and luxury segments. A new modular platform BHD (Beyond the Horizon of Drive) was developed especially for Yuanhang with an 800-volt electrical architecture and adaptive air suspension, front double wishbone, rear multi-link.

The Yuanhang H8 large crossover went on sale in the Chinese market this week, following its sister Yuanhang Y6 sedan. The overall length of the crossover is 5230 mm, width is 2015 mm, height is 1760 mm, wheelbase is 3126 mm. The salon has a seating formula of 2+2+2, in the second row there are two separate seats with a passage between them.

From the driver's seat, the Yuanhang H8 looks exactly the same as the Yuanhang Y6 — at least on the brand's Chinese consumer site they have absolutely identical photos of the front panel. The vertical multimedia screen with the AliOS operating system has a diagonal of 17.38 inches, the instrument screen is 12.3 inches, and a 70-inch augmented reality projection screen is provided for the windshield. The equipment also includes a high-quality audio system with 27 speakers and a full range of various electronic driver assistants, including adaptive cruise control.
The powertrains of the Yuanhang H8 are the same as those of the Y6 sedan. Younger versions have a single electric motor on the rear axle with a maximum output of 250 kW (340 hp) and 400 Nm, with which the crossover reaches the first “hundred” in 6.5 seconds. The battery capacity is 88 or 100 kWh, the range on one charge is 610 and 700 km according to the CLTC cycle, respectively.
In the all-wheel drive dual-motor version, the front electric motor produces 250 kW (340 hp) .) and 345 Nm, rear — 250 kW (340 hp) and 400 Nm, maximum combined output — 500 kW (680 hp) and 745 Nm, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.8 s. Battery capacity is 88 or 100 kWh, range on a single charge is 560 and 650 km according to the CLTC cycle, respectively.

At the top of the range is the most powerful all-wheel drive dual-motor version with a 150 kWh battery and a CLTC range of 950 km on a single charge. The front electric motor here produces 260 kW (353.5 hp) and 370 Nm, the rear — 260 kW (353.5 hp) and 480 Nm, maximum combined output — 520 kW (707 hp) and 850 Nm. The top sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The maximum speed of all versions is limited to 210 km/h.
Basic rear-wheel drive Yuanhang H8 with an 88 kWh battery costs 349,800 yuan (4.44 million rubles at current exchange rates) in China, an all-wheel drive with a 100 kWh battery costs 479,800 yuan (6.09 million rubles). The top version with a 150 kWh battery is not yet available on the Yuanhang consumer website, but its price is known — 559,800 yuan (7.1 million rubles).
