Chkalov's family disowned their great-granddaughter after her words about a nuclear strike on Moscow

“A sane person cannot say such a thing”

On February 2, the legendary pilot Hero of the Soviet Union Valery Chkalov turns 120 years old. The day before, his 35-year-old great-granddaughter Daria Bogdanova gave an interview, who said that she would not be averse to launching a nuclear strike on Moscow in order to end the conflict in Ukraine.

As an example, the girl cited the atomic attack on Japan in 1945, which, in her opinion, led to the end of World War II. Apparently, Daria is ready to put her own mother and grandmother, who still remain in Moscow, at risk.

However, Bogdanova noted, she prefers “that they fuck up the Lubyanka and leave it at that.”

Representatives of another branch of the Chkalovs are indignant and have already renounced the words of their relative, saying that they are not responsible for what she said.

Igor Valeryevich Chkalov, great-grandson of Valery Chkalov, representative of the International Chkalov Memorial Fund, contacted us. He stated that he spoke on behalf of the entire family.

“As a representative of the family of V.P. Chkalova, I can comment on the fact that Daria Bogdanova has lived in Belgium for a very long time and has Israeli citizenship.

Personally, I met Daria several times quite a long time ago and I can only assume that Daria became a victim of anti-Russian propaganda, which is actively spreading throughout the European Union, and also came under the influence of her husband, an ex-MOSSAD psychologist of Ukrainian origin. This is confirmed by Daria's statement that she is indifferent to the fate of millions of people living in Moscow who have nothing to do with the hostilities, as well as her own grandmother and mother in a nuclear attack on Moscow. I believe that a sane person cannot make such a statement.”

Igor Chkalov emphasized that the rest of the family in no way shares Daria’s position; the Chkalovs permanently live in Russia, or rather in the very Moscow that the girl so easily let down.

“Daria is trying to build a career as a political blogger , and these statements, we believe, were voiced solely for hype on the eve of the anniversary year of the 120th anniversary of Valery Pavlovich Chkalov, which will be held in a number of cities across the country, where more than a dozen historical and patriotic events will take place,” added the great-grandson of the pilot.

< p>He also asked to note that “members of our family work for the benefit of Russian science, sports and business, and are active and successful in preserving and popularizing the history of our country’s aviation for decades. Daria Bogdanova’s words are already planned to be checked for treason. This was stated by Senator Andrei Klimov. True, it is not very clear whether it is possible to cheat on a state of which you are not a citizen.
