Manufacturer Yars to deliver first fracking fleet in 2025

MOSCOW, January 31 Manufacturer of strategic missiles «Topol» and «Yars» «Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering» (MIT, part of Roscosmos) ) will supply the customer with the first production model of the hydraulic fracturing (fracturing) fleet in 2025, stated MIT.
“»Currently, a prototype of the hydraulic fracturing fleet is undergoing field tests in accordance with the approved program and methodological documents. Delivery of the first production model of the domestic hydraulic fracturing fleet is scheduled for 2025,” the statement says.
It was previously reported that a pilot batch of twelve high-tech units of the hydraulic fracturing fleet was sent to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. As Roscosmos noted then, the development will increase the production of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves by intensifying the flow of fluid to wells as part of the development of fields in Western Siberia.

The complex presented earlier by MIT was created jointly with enterprises of the military-industrial complex and the oil and gas industry. It consists of control machines, transportation of containers, liquid heating, manifolds, supply of bulk materials and chemical additives, as well as hydration, pumping and mixing units.
