It was decided to release the five-door new product of the German brand in a limited edition: the batch will consist of 660 copies. Deliveries to customers will start in the second quarter of this year.
The Audi brand showed the current generation A6 sedan and a station wagon with the Avant prefix in 2018. The sports version of the five-door, which was given the name Audi RS 6 Avant, debuted in 2019, and production started in 2020. The top version with the Performance increase was presented towards the end of 2022. And now Audi has decided to introduce another version of the “barn” — the RS6 Avant GT.

The Audi RS 6 Avant GT is based on the RS6 GTO concept, which was declassified in the fall of 2020. Let us remember that that show car was a reference to the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO car, which participated in the 1989 American circuit championship. The concept was created by trainees at the Audi Sport Center in Neckarsulm, and the project was led by chief designer Mark Lichte.
The RS 6 Avant GT received a massive darkened radiator grille, as well as a differently designed lower part of the front bumper, which, in fact, is a large and also darkened air intake. It is emphasized from below by a red and black splitter, which is supported by the same side skirts and a bright split wing at the stern. This station wagon was also deprived of roof rails “to create a more sporty silhouette.”
More “ The hot station wagon with the addition of GT to its name received a carbon fiber hood with contrasting inserts. In addition, the front fenders with air ducts are made of carbon, which, as the manufacturer noted, can reduce air pressure in the wheel arches and improve brake cooling.

The stern was decorated with a massive diffuser, into the lower part of which oval exhaust pipes were integrated (one on each side). The housings of traditional exterior mirrors are also made from carbon fiber. The sports station wagon received 22-inch white wheels. Exterior color options include Arkona White, Nardo Grey, Chronos Gray Metallic, Madeira Brown Metallic and Mythos Black Metallic.
The interior of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT is decorated in black with contrasting red decorative inserts. The limited edition car was also equipped with sports seats with enhanced support and stitching with a honeycomb pattern.
The all-wheel drive technology of the new product is the same as that of the version with the Performance addition: we are talking about a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, the output of which is 630 hp and the maximum torque is 850 Nm. Due to weight reduction and other aerodynamic settings, the model has better dynamic performance. So the GT version accelerates from zero to “hundreds” in 3.3 seconds (0.1 seconds faster), and from 0 to 200 km/h it takes 11.5 seconds (1.5 seconds faster). The maximum speed is limited to 305 km/h.
Audi RS 6 Avant GT will be released in limited edition series, a total of 660 copies. The first customers will receive their “charged” station wagons in the second quarter of this year. In Europe, the price of the new product starts at 219,355 euros (equivalent to approximately 21.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
