SIMFEROPOL, February 7 The head of the Zaporozhye public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov called on the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi not to shield himself the regime of Vladimir Zelensky in the issue of involvement in the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
On Wednesday, Grossi, accompanied by staff of the IAEA mission and representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense, visited the Zaporizhia NPP. At the same time, in a conversation with journalists, he said that the IAEA has not yet collected sufficient information to inform who is to blame for the shelling of the nuclear power plant.
“It’s time for Grossi to stop playing political games and shielding the Zelensky regime regarding its involvement in the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant,” Rogov said.
According to him, the IAEA mission and Grossi personally were repeatedly provided with comprehensive evidence of shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by Ukrainian troops, which were mainly carried out from the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region under their control — the cities on the right bank of the Dnieper Nikopol and Manganese.
“But, unfortunately, the IAEA mission and Grossi personally continue to play a silent game, and the Western community not only turns a blind eye, but also encourages the threat of nuclear terrorism that comes from the Zelensky regime. Because of his silence, Grossi is turning into an accomplice in the crimes of the Zelensky regime.” , — Rogov emphasized.
Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant is located on the left bank of the Dnieper near the city of Energodar. Ukraine continues to deliberately shell the Zaporizhia NPP and organize provocations. Thus, in November last year, Kyiv carried out a drone attack on Energodar in order to create the threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporizhia NPP and disrupt the rotation of IAEA staff, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported that the Kiev regime is seeking to create the appearance of a threat of nuclear disaster. The International Atomic Energy Agency has repeatedly stated the need to create a safety zone around the Zaporizhia NPP.
