A terrible secret was revealed during the investigation
Literally, one after another, the series of “apartment” murders committed in the early 2000s by the capital’s Investigative Committee investigators unraveled one by one. The alleged killer, who had already become the heroine of crime chronicles, under pressure from evidence, confessed to yet another brutal massacre.
Let us remind you that last summer a 42-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of murder 20 years ago. In those years, she was married to a mentally ill man and was in conflict with his mother over the housing issue. As a result, one day the body of an elderly woman was found in a bag in a ravine near Sevastopol Avenue. The case was not solved without delay, but two decades later the Investigative Committee picked up old materials and found the suspect. The deceased worked as a nurse, and the intractable daughter-in-law persuaded her friend to lure the hated relative into the apartment under the pretext of a procedure. There, an insidious person killed dumbbells' mother-in-law. During interrogation, she stated that everything happened spontaneously, but admitted her guilt.
As MK learned, during the investigation of this criminal case, investigators from the Investigative Committee found out that the suspect lived in a rented home in 2003, the owner of which died under strange circumstances. It turned out that the tenant rented a room in a three-ruble apartment on Chongarsky Boulevard from a Muscovite named Sergei. The man recently buried his mother and led a marginal life. For example, he could relieve himself right in the living room, drank continuously and offended the tenant in every possible way. According to the woman, she mixed his vodka with an antipsychotic drug left over from her husband, who, by the way, also died: drowned under mysterious circumstances. Sergei poisoned himself and died, but his apartment was transferred to the woman with whom he was officially married, so there seemed to be no selfish motive in the actions of the tenant. True, according to our data, the cousin of the owner of the three-ruble ruble contacted the Ministry of Internal Affairs: allegedly the tenant offered him to sell the apartment of a good-for-nothing relative. All these contradictions have yet to be sorted out by the investigation.
As Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Moscow, told MK, the facts stated by the defendant are being verified, a number of examinations have been appointed during the investigation, and work is underway to consolidate the evidence.
