Tories target Labor with Valentine's 'Starmer Sutra' attack ad

Sir Keir Starmer targeted with Valentine's Day attack advert, calling his policy positions the «Starmer Sutra».

The Conservatives launched the campaign following last week's abrupt change to Labour's green investment plan and the row over the party's candidate in the Rochdale by-election.< /p>

He was modeled for an image in the game Twister, called «Starmer Sutra». The slogan reads: “How to hold multiple positions at once.”

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Conservatives wrote: “Starmer's Sutra is the perfect Valentine's Day gift for the politically promiscuous.”

Sir Keir has attempted to defend his U-turn on Labour's £28 billion-a-year green investment pledge, arguing that it no longer available because the Tories have destroyed the economy.

He also said he had taken “drastic action” over comments by Rochdale by-election candidate Azhar Ali about Israel and the Jewish people.

< Labor was also criticized for initially backing Mr Ali after he was revealed to have said Israel "allowed" the Hamas attacks on October 7.

Richard Holden, chairman of the Conservative Party, previously said: «Starmer is a moral man.» vacuum — does not act from principle, but solely due to pressure.
