< strong>MOSCOW, February 26The Russian armed forces have dispelled another myth, this time about the invulnerability of the Abrams tank, the Rostec state corporation reported on Monday.
As the general director of the corporation, Sergei Chemezov, previously reported in an interview, the so-called technological superiority of the West in the military sphere is a myth. “Yes, they are strong in some ways. But we don’t slurp cabbage soup either. Look how many Leopards, Challengers, Bradleys and other Western equipment are rusting on the battlefields. This is the best confirmation of our capabilities,” — Chemezov noted.
«Another myth has been clearly dispelled (about the invulnerability of the Abrams tank — ed.), a miracle did not happen,» Rostec commented on the destruction of the American tank in the Northern Military District zone.
As adviser to the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Yan Gagin, said on Monday, the first Abrams tank used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the special operation zone was destroyed in the Avdeevka area. Photos and videos of a burning Abrams tank of the Ukrainian army also spread on the Internet.
