The truck is intended for the South American market. The new version is based on the “rich” performance of the Laramie.
The American brand Ram is part of the multi-brand auto giant Stellantis. She declassified her small pickup truck, called Rampage, last summer. Let us remind you that the new small truck is intended for the South American market, and its production is established at a plant located in the municipality of Goiana (Brazil). Now the model has a new version with a familiar name.

Ram has been using the Night Edition name since 2019: this increase is given to the “dark” versions of the trucks brands. Now larger pickups with indexes 1500, 2500 and 3500 have such versions, which, by the way, are also present in the North American line of the brand. The new “darkened” version of the Ram Rampage was created using the same principle.
The Ram Rampage Night Edition is based on the rich Laramie equipment, while the “regular” version differs due to the chrome grille, then like the “dark” version, it is made of black plastic, although the pattern of horizontal lines remains the same. Those elements that run along the upper edge of the headlights and connect the optics to the “grill” are also darkened.
< p>The Night Edition also has darkened exterior mirrors, window frames, rear bumper, as well as a pair of exhaust pipes and 18-inch wheels. A number of elements, including nameplates, are made in dark gray.

The interior of the Ram Rampage Night Edition also has its own differences. Thus, the seats, doors and front panel are trimmed in black leather, which replaced the brown Laramie leather. The speakers of the sound system and the roof are also painted black. The diagonal of the virtual tidy is 10.3 inches, the touchscreen of the infotainment system is 12.3 inches. The list of equipment includes dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, seven airbags, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring.
The new version of the truck is offered with only one “filling” option: we are talking about a gasoline 2.0-liter Hurricane turbo-four, the output of which is 272 hp and the maximum torque is 400 Nm. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is available. Note that the Rampage pickup line still has a basic 2.0-liter Multijet Turbo turbodiesel with a capacity of 170 hp. (380 Nm).

Ram Rampage Laramie Night Edition is now available for order in Brazil. The starting price tag is 277,990 reais (equivalent to approximately 5.1 million rubles at the current exchange rate). The new version is 15 thousand reais more expensive compared to just Rampage Laramie. However, this option will cost customers R$12,000 less than the flagship Rampage R/T trim, which features a sporty trim.
