SBU threatened attacks on Crimean Bridge

MOSCOW, May 23. The Ukrainian Security Service is again threatening attacks on the Crimean Bridge, calling it one of its “priority targets.”
«With the help of drones equipped with MLRS, the intelligence service can significantly increase the list of potential targets at sea. Vasily Malyuk also names the Crimean Bridge as one of the priority targets, which has already been hit by the SBU twice, including with the help of Sea Baby maritime drones» , says a message published on the SBU Telegram channel.

The department claims that Ukraine first used the Sea Baby drone equipped with Grad multiple launch rocket systems in December 2023. “There are many, many surprises ahead,” the SBU quotes the words of the head of the department, Vasily Malyuk, against whom a case of terrorism has been opened in Russia.

Earlier, Malyuk in his Telegram channel announced the involvement of the Ukrainian security service in attacks on oil refineries in Russia, also naming the Crimean Bridge and ships in the Black Sea among the targets of the SBU.
The Kremlin has repeatedly emphasized that the terrorist methods of the Kyiv regime, which attacks civilian targets, further convince of the need to fully implement the goals of the Russian special operation.

On the night of July 17, 2023, Kyiv authorities attacked the Crimean Bridge with two surface drones. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article “Terrorist Act”. The explosion damaged the road part of the bridge, a girl was injured, and her parents were killed. The bridge was completely restored and traffic opened on all four lanes on October 14. The SBU, in a message on its Telegram channel, actually admitted responsibility for the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge.
On the morning of October 8, 2022, a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge, as a result, seven fuel tanks of the train caught fire, and two automobile spans on the right side of the bridge partially collapsed. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, which, according to Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. According to him, after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge, Kyiv put itself on the same level as the most odious terrorist groups. The head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, said on July 26 that employees of the department he heads were behind the bombing of the Crimean Bridge in the fall of 2022.
