MOSCOW, May 30. The Soyuz-2.1a rocket launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome with the Progress MS-27 cargo ship, which will go to the International Space Station, broadcast The launch is being conducted by Roscosmos.
The separation of the ship from the third stage of the rocket is expected 8 minutes 49 seconds after launch. The flight of Progress to the station will take two days, docking is scheduled for 14:47 Moscow time on June 1. 
The ship with a total mass of 7.4 tons will deliver more than 2.5 tons of cargo to the station, including 1.3 tons of dry cargo for the station systems and the ISS crew. As Roscosmos clarified, equipment for the Biopolymer, Interaction-2, Virtual, Correction, Neuroimmunity, Pilot-T and Hurricane experiments will go into orbit.
In addition, on board Progress there are 754 kilograms of fuel to refuel the station, 420 kilograms of drinking water and 40 kilograms of nitrogen to replenish the ISS atmosphere.
The rocket bears images dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Alexei Leonov (born May 30, 1934) — the first person to perform a spacewalk, the 30th anniversary of the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities (TSENKI, Russian Cosmodromes), 300- anniversary of St. Petersburg State University and the 65th anniversary of the movement of Russian student groups.
