MOSCOW, June 28In August, the Cheryomushkinsky Court of Moscow will consider the first protocol against actor Artur Smolyaninov*, drawn up due to failure to submit reports on his activities to the authorized body, according to the portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow.

"Court hearing in the case of an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation in relation to Smolyaninov* A.S. scheduled for August 7 at 9.30,” the file says.
Under this article, a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles is threatened.
In 2022, Smolyaninov* was fined 30 rubles for discrediting the Russian army. The Ministry of Justice included the actor in the register of foreign agents in January 2023. In May of this year, he was included in the list of terrorists and extremists.
Smolyaninov* in an interview with Novaya Gazeta Europe (blocked in the Russian Federation) stated that even if he took part in the conflict, he would be on the side of Ukraine, adding that he “doesn’t give a damn” about the Russian Federation, even if only one region remains from the country, «and everything else will turn into radioactive ash.» The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered that a criminal case be opened against the actor (the department did not report whether this happened).
People and organizations included in the relevant register of Rosfinmonitoring are prohibited from interacting with the media, posting information online, organizing public events, participating in elections and using any financial services that do not relate to paying taxes, salaries and damages.
