Harvey Weinstein has been charged with a further six counts of sexual assault involving two victims from incidents that allegedly happened more than a decade ago, prosecutors in Los Angeles said.
The fallen Hollywood mogul, 68, was convicted of rape in New York in February but is facing charges in California. Prosecutors have added six additional counts of sexual assault, added to the already existing charges which include rape and sexual battery.
The new allegations against Weinstein claim he raped a woman at a hotel in Beverly Hills between September 2004 and 2005, prosecutors said.
He is also accused of raping another woman on two separate occasions in November 2009 and November 2010 at a hotel in Beverly Hills.
