The Renault Talisman family has already left Europe: the production of sedans and station wagons ended in France at the beginning of last year. But in Korea, the model is still in service. The SM6 Inspire is equipped with a 225 hp 1.8 TCe petrol «turbo-four», and this is the only version that is supposed to have such an engine. Simpler sedans in Korea are available with a 1.3 TCe (156 hp) turbo engine, in addition, you can buy a car with a 2.0 LPe (140 hp) gas “aspirated” there. The turbo engines are mated to a seven-speed Getrag robotic gearbox, the naturally aspirated engine is paired with a CVT. the top version of the Inspire starts at $27,900, the base SM6 sedan starts at $21,600.
Meanwhile, Renault Korea recently updated the QM6 crossover, which is a clone of the Renault Koleos. Recall that Koleos himself is about to leave the global market: he will be replaced by a three-row Renault Espace SUV, that is, a stretched version of Austral.
