The British brand MG, owned by the Chinese automaker SAIC, has revealed the design of the two-seat Cyberster electric roadster, it will be available on the European market in the summer of 2024
MG fans, of which there are still quite a lot in Europe, expected a full-fledged premiere of the Cyberster roadster at the Shanghai Motor Show, but, as it turned out, it was postponed to the next summer, and so far only the first official photos (probably computer renders) without any technical description. However, some of Cyberster's technical data was published by the Chinese Ministry of Industry last week, so it's more or less clear what to expect from the new product.
Recall that the MG Cyberster debuted as a concept car two years ago and became a prologue to the turn of the British brand from Chinese consumer goods to elegant sports models in the best historical traditions of MG. The production Cyberster, in particular, is stylistically close to the last native British roadster MG F/TF, which was produced from 1995 to 2011 and was equipped only with gasoline engines.

< p>The Cyberster interior is not shown in detail, but something can be seen in one of the general pictures, namely a large vertical touch screen, a curved instrument panel that wraps around the steering column, a partition between the driver and passenger parts of the cabin, sports seats with integral head restraints, behind which powerful safety arcs are installed.
