One of the fresh SUVs will go on sale this year, and it's announced to be global, so chances are in the Russian Federation are very large. The second crossover is still presented in the form of a prototype.
Perhaps one of the most spectacular premieres of the Jetour brand (owned by Chery) at the current Shanghai Motor Show was the T-3 frame SUV, which we have already talked about. But the brand is preparing to launch other new products, they were also shown at the exhibition.
So, already this year, a five-seater crossover with a brutal look will reach Chinese dealers: in the homeland, the model is known as the Traveler, but for the global version they chose the T2 index. By the way, it was officially announced that the debut of such an SUV on the “world” market is also scheduled for 2023.

Recall that the first presentation of this models held back in March. Despite all its «off-road» image, Jetour Traveler/T2 has a load-bearing body. The length of the model is 4785 mm (including the box on the tailgate), width — 2006 mm, height — 1800 mm, wheelbase — 2800 mm.

The Chinese will be offered a crossover with 1.5 petrol turbo engines and 2.0 (according to other sources, the base will be 1.6T), both are combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches, the two-liter is still promised a classic eight-speed “automatic”. In addition, a plug-in hybrid with a 1.5-liter turbo engine will be available in the home market. The Jetour Traveler/T2 has all wheel drive (with a sixth generation BorgWarner clutch on the rear axle).

The Jetour X-2 SUV in Shanghai is presented as a prototype with tightly tinted windows, there is no official information about this model yet. Apparently, we have an even more daring version of the already aggressive Jetour Dasheng crossover (the export version is called Dashing).

As for Russia, we will soon begin selling the very Dashing, as well as the large X90 Plus crossover. The Jetour Traveler/T2 cross-country also has every chance to get to the Russian Federation.
