A CBI spokesman said: “We look forward to hearing from Fox Williams on the issues it is reviewing shortly. The Board will communicate its response to this and other steps we are taking to bring about the broader changes that are needed early next week.
“Recognizing the need for privacy, we encourage everyone, including the media, to who has additional information regarding any alleged crime to also report it to the police.”
Earlier this week, Tony Dunker, former CBI CEO, said he was “thrown under a bus” by a lobbying group and said he was considering legal action against his former employer.
Mr Dunker was fired last week for separate allegations of misconduct, including sending unprompted messages to employees on social platforms.< /p>
>Brian McBride, President of the CBI, disputed Mr. Dunker's «selective» version of events, saying, «The board has lost confidence and confidence in his ability to lead the organization and represent the CBI in public.»
