Protesters took to the race track in front of the Scottish Grand National, delaying the start of the race.
A week after the protesters delayed the start of the Grand National and contributed to the chaotic start of the race, unsettling a number of runners, including the ill-fated Hill Sixteen's first fall over the fence, the same group claimed responsibility for the Ayr protest while once again promising more crashes would occur.
The second anti-racing protest in a week comes amid fears that other sporting events will also be targeted. London Marathon organizers have been working with police to prevent a disruption and have received assurances that an environmental protest planned by Extinction Rebellion, which is expected to draw 30,000 people, will not target Sunday's event. But Just Stop Oil made no such promises in the week they were aiming for the World Snooker Championship.
Aware of the possibility of protests after Animal Rising said it would protest at major racing events in the summer, Eyre prepared an additional 90 police officers in case of such a situation, but they could not prevent it.
The organization said that 25 people tried to stop the biggest steeplechase in Scotland by entering the track from the Tesco car park opposite the third last fence 15 minutes before the start of the race, but the police in Scotland, who had a drone, were ready for them.
The protesters were booed by the 17,000-strong crowd who cheered every time police or a member of Ayr's security force grabbed one of them. The incident was settled in less than five minutes and the race started quickly.

Courseman Graeme Anderson said: “Police Scotland and the Secure Group have handled this very well. I heard that several protesters were arrested, but I don't have exact numbers yet. The race started on time. They were wearing glue and locking devices, but they didn't have time to use them.»
Animal Rising released a statement shortly after the protest began and before it was quickly stopped by the police:
< p>"25 Animal Rising supporters took to the Scottish Grand National circuit to put their bodies at risk and protect the animals.
“Eight-year-old Oscar Elite passed away this afternoon on the same circuit. We are taking action today with them in our hearts. Every two days a horse dies at the races in the UK. We are here to protect horses by saying NO to this barbaric 'sport' There are many other things we can do on a Saturday afternoon that don't involve watching animals cause harm.
"Last week at Aintree was just the beginning.
"It's the summer of animal uprising"
Julie Harrington, chief executive of the British Racing Authority, said: a broad agenda.
“By targeting horse racing, they seek to destroy a high-welfare sport that provides many animals with both purpose and an unparalleled quality of life.
“Equestrian sport in the UK is one of the most regulated animals. operations in a world where nearly 6,000 stable employees provide excellent care for horses bred for racing. Our sport is founded on a deep respect for the Thoroughbreds and celebrates their physical and mental abilities, ensuring they are in the best possible state of health to reach their full potential.
“Racing leaders are aware of the constant threat to major rallies, caused by protests such as today's and will work closely with racetracks to ensure that strong safety plans are in place to keep any disruption to a minimum.”
The race was won for the second year in a row. by South Wales coach Christian Williams, this time with Kitty Light, who finished second 12 months ago. It was an emotional victory as the coach's five-year-old daughter Betsy was recently diagnosed with leukemia and the family spent two weeks with her in a Cardiff hospital.
