The second generation model is now presented exclusively with the junior 1.5-liter turbo four.
The Haval H6 crossover of the current, third generation debuted back in 2020, since then it has acquired several versions, including hybrid and coupe. At the same time, the “second” cross is still in service: such a “six” experienced the last full-fledged restyling in 2021, and now the SUV has been brought to the 2023 model year. Alas, there are practically no new things — only cuts. But first things first.

The design was not changed this time. As before, the «second» Haval H6 is offered in China with two radiator grilles to choose from — with horizontal dies or vertical chrome «touches», and from now on you do not need to pay extra for a brilliant option. For the SUV, an extended black decor is still provided: the grille frame and glass edging can be made in this color. Inside is the old 12.3″ infotainment tablet that rises above the dash (standard equipment).
The engine range was cut: the second generation Haval H6 lost a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 224 hp, and the top version of the “turbo four” 1.5 with 169 hp was also removed. Thus, in the 2023 model year, the SUV remained with a 150-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine, which is combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. The drive of the «second» cross is exclusively front.
The model is available in only two trim levels. The base H6 has 17-inch wheels, halogens, a conventional sunroof, rear parking sensors, climate control, surround cameras and cruise control. The second version is 19-inch wheels, LED optics, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch display in the tidy (a 12.3-inch virtual tidy is optionally available), wireless charging for a smartphone, an adaptive cruise, auto-braking systems, marking tracking and traffic sign recognition.
For the «second» Haval H6 2023 model year, they ask for about 14,300 — 15,800 dollars. For comparison, a third-generation crossover at home will cost at least $16,800.
The second-generation SUV never made it to Russia. But, according to unofficial data, we will still have a «third» Haval H6.
